Twice a year, we hold contests for various skills having to do with public speaking and leadership. On Thursday night, March 16, 2017, we held the annual contest for evaluations, a very important part of how toastmasters learn to get better at speaking in public. The winner of this award at the club level goes on to compete at the area level on April 5.
The other contest is the International Speech Contest. The winner of this contest could go on to complete on an international level in the United States.
